Find Back to School Fashions on a Budget - Salvation Army Thrift Stores 50% Off for Back to School Sale
SAN DIEGO, Calif. (August 4, 2016) – Clothing can be a big expense for parents as they prepare to send their kids to school every fall. But it doesn’t have to be! Local Salvation Army Thrift Stores will be 50% off storewide this weekend and next to get kids of all ages ready for the school year. The sale will be August 4-6 and August 11-13.
The Salvation Army Thrift Stores offer a wide variety of back to school fashion at low prices. There’s something for everybody including summer dresses, high-end jeans, sweaters and jackets, backpacks and shoes.
“We get amazing donations of high-end clothing, that we’re able to offer back to the community at a reasonable price,” says Major Henry Graciani, Administrator of The Salvation Army Rehabilitation Program and Thrift Stores. “We know it can be difficult to send kids to school with a new wardrobe, so we’re thrilled to offer 50% to help with the cost even more.”
All purchases from Salvation Army Thrift Stores benefit men and women in recovery. The Salvation Army offers a free six-month recovery program in downtown San Diego, funded by the Thrift Stores.
“We are incredibly grateful for all donations and purchases made at our Thrift Stores. The money directly funds our programs and transforms lives every day,” says Graciani.
The Salvation Army has seven thrift stores in San Diego County. For locations and to learn more about Salvation Army Thrift Stores, visit sandiego.satruck.org
