There are many ways to get involved and become a volunteer with The Salvation Army. Whatever your passion, The Salvation Army can find a place for you to give back.
Applicants will attend an interview with Volunteer center staff and complete The Salvation Army Volunteer Application and the Criminal Background Check Authorization Form. Applicants should bring contact information for references and a photo I.D. to the interview.
The Salvation Army Staff will call the volunteer applicant's references and conduct a criminal background check.
Volunteer applicants whose applications are approved (favorable results of above clearance procedures) will be invited to a Salvation Army Volunteer Orientation. Additional Salvation Army clearance paperwork will be completed by all prospective volunteers during The Salvation Army Volunteer Orientation.
Upon approval, prospective volunteers will then be ready to be matched with a volunteer opportunity!
